This policy explains how MyHigherPath handles information when you use the website, free resources, tools, customer account, external book links, or support features.
Information we collect
We may collect information you submit, such as your name, email address, account details, legacy purchase records, support messages, assessment responses, and tool inputs. Payment-card details for voluntary support are processed by Stripe and are not stored by MyHigherPath.
How information is used
We use information to provide free resources, customer accounts, requested emails, password resets, support, site security, product improvement, and analytics when enabled.
Service providers
We may use providers such as Vercel, Neon, Stripe, Resend, Google Analytics, OpenAI, and Amazon links to operate or connect specific parts of the experience. Each provider processes information according to its own terms and privacy practices.
Stress & Eating Habits Quiz
The quiz sends your selected answers to MyHigherPath to produce your requested reflection. When AI is configured and available, those answers are also sent to OpenAI; otherwise, the site supplies a guided reflection. The quiz does not request your name, email, or free-text medical history. We do not save quiz answers or results to your account or application database. AI requests ask OpenAI not to store the response for later retrieval, but provider retention and security practices still apply. The service uses your request IP for temporary rate limiting. Results are educational and do not measure cortisol or diagnose health conditions.
MyHigherPath and TrueSelfMap
MyHigherPath and TrueSelfMap are connected brands, but they operate as separate websites. Clicking a TrueSelfMap or Amazon link sends you to that service. Your MyHigherPath account and legacy purchase history are not automatically transferred.
Cookies, local storage, and analytics
The site uses essential cookies for secure account sessions, support checkout, language, and saved preferences. Some interactive companion tools may use browser local storage to keep your progress and private reflections on your own device. Those locally saved journal entries are not submitted to MyHigherPath unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise. Google Analytics and other non-essential measurement tools load only after you accept analytics cookies. You can reopen Cookie Settings from the footer at any time.
Email choices
Free-guide and marketing emails require an affirmative choice. Logged-in customers can keep email preferences visible in My Library and the Email Center. Every promotional message includes a manage-preferences or unsubscribe link. Essential password, security, account, and support messages may still be sent when necessary.
Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information only as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.
Children
MyHigherPath is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
